4.1. Dynamic Balancing Tester Speed Measurement:

When only speed measurement is performed, simply connect the Hall sensor to the instrument, and place a small magnet on the surface of the rotating pulley. After power-on, in the mode selection menu (Figure 4-2), select , press the |Execute| key, and the screen enters the speed measurement display (Figure 4-3). At this time, the display shows the rotational speed of the measured rotating body, in rpm (revolutions per minute).

4.2. Dynamic Balancing Tester Vibration Intensity Measurement:

When only vibration intensity measurement is performed, simply connect the velocity sensor to the vibration input jack on the instrument panel, and fix the velocity sensor to the measurement point. In the mode selection menu (Figure 4-2), move the cursor to , press the |Execute| key, and the screen displays as shown in Figure 4-4.

×1:    Magnification factor, used to improve the reading resolution of the vibration value A. Press the ▲ or ▼ key to switch between “×0.1, ×1, ×10, ×100”.

Channel label:    Press the |◄| key to switch between channel A and channel B.

Press the |+| key to switch the measurement value between vibration severity (mm/s) and displacement peak-to-peak (um).

Generally, at low speeds below 10,000 rpm, displacement peak-to-peak (um) measurement is selected. It is suitable for most users. The following examples use the displacement setting.
