Maintenance and Care of Three-Cup Insulating Oil Dielectric Strength Tester

Maintenance and care of the three-cup insulating oil dielectric strength tester:

(1) Avoid exposing the instrument to rain or humid environments.

(2) The oil cup and electrodes must be kept clean. During periods of non-use, they should be protected by filling with new transformer oil. Regularly check whether the distance between electrodes has changed and whether the electrode tips and electrode rod threads are loose. If loose, tighten them promptly.

(3) The high-voltage electromagnetic switch inside the oil cup box of this instrument is oil-immersed insulated. Regularly open the screw plug to check the oil level. If the distance from the oil surface to the top screw plug exceeds 15mm, replenish with No. 25 transformer oil that complies with GB2536.

(4) Replacing the printer ribbon: The ribbon cartridge is already installed when the printer leaves the factory, but after a period of use, it needs to be replaced. The steps are as follows: (This step is not applicable to thermal printers.)

     1) Remove the front cover of the printer.

     2) Gently remove the old ribbon cartridge from the printer head. Note: First lift the left end of the ribbon cartridge, then lift the right end. The steps to remove the ribbon cartridge are as follows:

Replacing the printer ribbon: Pinch the two movable tabs on the sides of the printer with your fingers and gently lift the entire printer out from the instrument's top panel. Note: Before removing the printer, make sure the instrument power is turned off. Pinch the other two tabs under the cover plate with your fingers and open the cover plate. Gently remove the old ribbon cartridge from the printer head. Note: First lift the left end of the ribbon cartridge, then lift the right end, and remove the ribbon. Place the right end of the new ribbon cartridge gently onto the gear shaft at the right end of the printer head, keeping the left end slightly raised without lowering it. If you find that the right end of the ribbon cartridge has not fully seated, press the knob on the ribbon cartridge with your finger and turn it slightly clockwise until the right end falls into place, then lower the left end of the ribbon cartridge. Check whether the ribbon is straightened or still exposed outside the cartridge. You can turn the knob on the cartridge again until the ribbon is pulled into the cartridge and straightened. It is easier to replace the ribbon when there is no paper in the printer head. Finally, install the front cover of the printer or push the top cover back on.

Replacing the printer paper: Pinch the two movable tabs on the sides of the printer with your fingers and gently lift the entire printer out from the instrument's top panel. Note: Before removing the printer, make sure the instrument power is turned off. Remove the paper roll spindle from the printer. If there is already a paper roll on the printer, you can skip this step. Slide the new paper roll onto the spindle and press the spindle firmly into the guide groove of the printer. Make sure the spindle is securely installed and will not fall out. Cut the paper end into a triangle, turn on the instrument power, press the paper feed switch, press the SEL (left) key to turn off the SEL indicator, then press the LF (right) key to rotate the printer head. At this time, use your hand to feed the paper head into the paper slot at the bottom of the printer head, and the paper will slowly enter the printer head until it emerges from the front of the printer head with a certain length exposed. Press the LF or SEL key again, or turn off the power. Close the printer front cover, and thread the printer head through the paper outlet of the front cover. Install the entire printer back onto the instrument panel.

Note: Be sure to set the paper feed switch to the online position.
