Operating Precautions for Vacuum Degree Tester Using Magnetron Principle

Operating precautions for the vacuum degree tester using the magnetron principle:

1. The vacuum degree tester is a precision instrument with a relatively dense circuit board wiring. It is generally required to be stored in a relatively dry place. If the environment is humid, it should be powered on frequently.

2. If the current value displays zero after testing, check whether the surface of the arc extinguishing chamber is clean. Because an unclean surface may cause the change in leakage current to be greater than the ionization current value. In this case, the measured value minus the leakage current is less than zero, and the instrument judges it as zero. If this happens, wipe the surface of the arc extinguishing chamber clean and then perform the test again. Generally, the vacuum degree value obtained in this way is more accurate.

3. When turning on and off the power, the high-voltage output wire must not touch the human body to avoid electric shock.

4. When the high-voltage indicator light is on, do not touch the high-voltage wire and the magnetron current wire.

5. The disassembly and assembly of the printing paper must be carried out with the instrument powered off first to avoid damaging the printer. When changing the paper, open the front panel, pinch the two clamping pieces of the print head with the index finger and thumb, gently pull out the print head, making the paper outlet slightly higher than the instrument panel, but do not pull it out too far, otherwise the print head will be damaged. Cut the new paper end into a pointed shape, insert it into the inlet end of the print head, turn on the instrument power, press the print key, let the paper come out from the upper end of the print head for a certain distance, insert it into the panel outlet slot to guide it out, close the printer panel, and the paper loading is complete.

6. The vacuum degree tester has no user-serviceable parts. If a fault occurs, please have it repaired by professional personnel or contact the supplier. Do not open the instrument without authorization to avoid accidents or unnecessary losses.

7. The vacuum degree measurement range of the vacuum degree tester is between 9.999×10-1 and 1×10-5, and the ion current measurement range is between 9.999×10-1 and 1×10-7. When the vacuum degree of the vacuum tube is greater than 10-2 Pa or the ion current is greater than 500μA, it is recommended that the vacuum tube be scrapped.

8. If the pressure inside the vacuum tube is equal to atmospheric pressure (i.e., the vacuum tube is damaged), this instrument will judge it by high-voltage breakdown. When it detects leakage in the tube, the instrument automatically stops measurement, the digital tube "P" flashes, and it returns to the initial state.

(Note: After breakdown, the instrument may display abnormally. At this time, press the "Reset Key" to return the instrument to the normal state)
