How to Use the Trace Moisture Analyzer Well

   1. Connect the SF6 equipment. Connect the threaded end of the measuring pipeline to the switch joint and tighten it with a wrench. Close the needle valve at the other end of the measuring pipeline. Then insert the quick connector end of the test pipeline into the sampling port of the SF6 trace moisture analyzer. Connect the exhaust pipeline to the gas outlet. Finally, connect the switch joint to the measuring interface of the SF6 electrical equipment and tighten it with a wrench.

        2. Check the battery level. It is recommended to use AC power first. When using DC power, check the battery level displayed in the upper right corner. If the battery level is below about 20%, turn off the device and charge it before continuing.

        3. Start measurement. First, fully open the needle valve on the measuring pipeline, then use the flow valve on the panel to adjust the flow rate to about 0.5L/M, and start measuring the SF6 dew point. The measurement time for the first device is 5-10 minutes, and for each subsequent device, it takes 3-5 minutes.

        4. Store data. After the measurement is completed, you can save the data in the instrument. Press the "OK" key to bring up the operation menu. For specific operation methods, see the next section.

        5. Measure other devices. After measuring one device, close the needle valve on the measuring pipeline and the regulating valve on the SF6 trace moisture analyzer. Remove the adapter from the SF6 electrical equipment. If you need to continue measuring other devices, follow the above steps to measure the next device.

        6. End of measurement. After all devices have been measured, turn off the power of the SF6 trace moisture analyzer.

Overall, the method of using the trace moisture analyzer is relatively simple, and the steps are not cumbersome. Electric power workers can easily master the skills.
