Oil-immersed high-voltage test transformer, full name YDJ, TDM (G) series oil-immersed test transformer, English name: Oil-filled high-voltage test transformer.It is the basic test equipment used by power plants, power supply bureaus, and scientific research units for AC withstand voltage tests. It has passed the standards of the National Quality Supervision Bureau and is used to conduct insulation strength tests at specified voltages on various electrical products, electrical components, insulating materials, etc., to assess the insulation level of products, discover insulation defects of the test object, and measure the ability to withstand overvoltage.

Working Principle

The variable frequency series-parallel resonant test transformer provides power supply through a frequency modulation controller. The test voltage is initially boosted by the excitation transformer, then the high voltage is applied to the reactor L and the test object CX. By changing the output frequency of the frequency modulation controller, the circuit is in a series resonant state; adjust the output voltage of the frequency converter controller to make the high voltage on the test object reach the required voltage value. The resonant frequency of the circuit depends on the capacitance CX of the test object and the inductance L of the reactor, the resonant frequency.

High Voltage Test Transformer Control Console

Overview

The test transformer control console is a supporting device for the high-voltage test transformer, used together with the test transformer for withstand voltage and leakage tests.

Main Features

The test transformer control console is composed of a contact voltage regulator and control, protection, measurement, and signal circuits. By connecting to a 220V/380V power frequency power supply, adjust the output voltage of the voltage regulator (i.e., the input voltage of the test transformer) to obtain the required high test voltage (the withstand voltage value of the test object).

Test Method

First, adjust to the system resonance point at low voltage, then increase the test voltage amplitude to reach the specified voltage value on the test object. At this voltage, maintain for the specified time, then reduce the voltage to zero, completing the entire test process.
