Working Principle:
When the test object Ca generates partial discharge under the test voltage, the discharge pulse signal is sent to the input unit through the coupling capacitor Ca. The input unit picks up the pulse signal, which is amplified by a low-noise preamplifier, filtered by a filter amplifier to select the required frequency band, and amplified by the main amplifier (to achieve the required amplitude and generate a zero-marker pulse). Then, a visible discharge pulse is produced on the elliptical scanning baseline of the oscilloscope screen, and it is also sent to the pulse peak meter to display its peak value.
The time window unit controls the working time of the pulse peak meter within each cycle of the test voltage, and during this working time, the corresponding display area on the oscilloscope screen is highlighted, which can be used to eliminate interference with fixed phase.
The test voltmeter generates a zero-crossing marker signal of the test voltage through a capacitive voltage divider, which can display a zero-marker pulse on the oscilloscope screen. The magnitude of the test voltage is indicated by a digital voltmeter.
