Medium Frequency 10KV DC High Voltage GeneratorTechnical Features:
1. The chassis adopts an internationally universal type, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use.
2. It adopts medium frequency voltage doubling circuit, applies PWM pulse width modulation technology and high-power IGBT devices. With large voltage feedback, the output voltage stability is high. Ripple factor ≤1%. Full-range smooth voltage regulation, good voltage adjustment fineness. Adjustment accuracy ≤0.5%, stability ≤1%, voltage error ±1% (reading ±0.2KV), current error ±1% ±1 digit.
3. The boosting potentiometer adopts a ten-turn potentiometer for zero-start boosting, and is equipped with voltage scale indication. 0.75UDC-1mA function button is convenient for zinc oxide arrester test, accuracy ±1% (reading ±0.2KV). Overvoltage protection is set by dial code. Simple "Fault" Troubleshooting
1.Medium Frequency 10KV DC High Voltage Generator When the power switch is turned on, the digital display on the control box does not light up Please check the power connection and all fuses. If the fuse is damaged, replace it with a new one according to the ampere rating marked next to the fuse holder.
2. If the power switch is turned on, the digital display lights up, but the high voltage indicator light (green) does not light up, and high voltage cannot be applied.
① Fault display "Return to Zero" light is on Not returned to zero position, please turn the high voltage output adjustment knob and fine adjustment knob counterclockwise back to zero until the "Return to Zero" light goes off, then high voltage can be applied.
② Fault display "Other" light is on, there are two phenomena:
1. Grounding protection,
2. Disconnection protection
a. Possibly the grounding wire is not connected properly, or the ground wire is not reliably grounded. Please connect a reliable ground wire, turn off the power, and restart.
b. Possibly the cable connecting the control box and the high voltage tower is not connected properly. Connect the cable properly, turn off the power, and restart. Or if the soldered joints at both ends of the cable are desoldered, this fault may occur. Please solder the joints at both ends of the cable, turn off the power, and restart.
C. Possibly a wire joint inside the control box is desoldered or disconnected. Please re-solder it, turn off the power, and restart.
3. Everything is normal, but protection occurs during the process before reaching the rated output voltage ① Fault display "Overcurrent" light is on
a. The test object is short-circuited, or the leakage current is too large.
b. When the load is a large capacitor, the voltage is raised too quickly. Turn off the power, restart, and slow down the voltage raising speed.
② Fault display "Overvoltage" light is on The overvoltage protection setting knob is not placed at the maximum position. Please turn it clockwise to the maximum position, turn off the power, and restart.
4. When a short circuit occurs under high voltage on the test object, due to the large short-circuit current, it is possible that all fault indicator lights are lit. This is normal. Please eliminate the fault of the test object and restart.
5. After the fault of the test object is eliminated, the fault indicator light is still on, and high voltage cannot be applied. The power switch also serves as the fault protection reset switch. Please turn off the power switch and restart to boost the voltage.
6. If the voltmeter digital reading fluctuates greatly, please check whether the shielding mesh head of pin 7 of the aviation plug at both ends of the connecting cable and the central shielding wire head are desoldered or disconnected. If disconnected, please solder them.
If the fault cannot be eliminated by the above methods, please contact the manufacturer.
