The transformer loss parameter tester is low in price and automatically performs waveform distortion correction, temperature correction, voltage correction (no-load test under non-rated voltage), and current correction (short-circuit test under non-rated current).

Test Transformer Product Features:
1. Adopts a large-screen backlit Chinese character dot matrix display, allowing direct input of transformer parameters for convenience and intuitiveness.
2. No-load or load test data is displayed all at once on the screen; load loss data does not require manual conversion, and the 75-degree load loss value is directly displayed on the screen; during no-load testing, it has an automatic latch function when the three-phase average voltage exceeds 400V, and data can be latched or unlatched at any time.
3. Has printing function, convenient for experimenters to record and save data.
4. Optional RS232 serial port, can be controlled by computer for testing and data display.
5. When the test current is ≤50A and the test voltage is ≤500V, the instrument can test directly. For larger test current or voltage, external CT or PT can be connected.
Test Transformer Product Introduction:
Basic concepts of transformer loss parameter tester test
No-load test:
Apply rated voltage of sinusoidal waveform at rated frequency to one winding of the transformer (generally from the secondary low-voltage side), with the other windings open-circuited, and measure the no-load current and no-load loss. If test conditions are limited and the power supply voltage cannot reach the rated voltage, the test can be conducted under non-rated voltage conditions. This test method has larger errors and is generally only used to check whether the transformer has faults. Only when the test voltage reaches more than 80% of the rated voltage can it be used to test no-load loss.
Short-circuit test:
Artificially short-circuit the low-voltage high-current side of the transformer, apply test voltage at rated frequency to the rated tap of the high-voltage side coil, so that the current in the winding reaches the rated value, then measure the input power and applied voltage (i.e., short-circuit loss and short-circuit voltage) and current value. Usually, the capacity of the test power supply should be 30% of the capacity of the tested object.
