1. Connect the power cord of the relay protection tester and check the wiring (an external keyboard or mouse is required). After confirming it is correct, turn on the power of the tester and the external computer respectively. After a moment, the interface for selecting the startup mode will appear.

  3. After starting the Windows operating system, the main interface for software function testing will be entered to carry out various test tasks.

  F2 Start/Stop Test: When the tester is not outputting signals, press the F2 key to start outputting signals; during the test, pressing the F2 key can stop the test, and the tester stops outputting signals;

  F5 Manual Increment: Each time the F5 key is pressed during the test, the output signal increases according to the set step size;

  F6 Manual Decrement: Each time the F6 key is pressed during the test, the output signal decreases according to the set step size;

  When the current used exceeds the maximum current output per phase of the tester, the current sources of the tester can be used in parallel. When used in parallel, the output phases of the parallel current channels should be set to the same, and the output current is the sum of the output amplitudes of the parallel current channels.

  When the output power of the current source is required to be greater than the output power of each phase current, the current sources of the tester can be used in series. For example, connect IA and IB in series, set the amplitudes of the two phases equal, with a phase difference of 180°, and the output power can be doubled.

  When the voltage used exceeds the voltage output per phase of the tester, the phases of the two-phase voltage can be set to a difference of 180°, and the output voltage is the sum of the output amplitudes of the two voltage channels. The tester can only support 240V AC voltage.

  Use the mouse to click "Start" - "Shut Down" in the lower left corner of the interface, and select "OK" in the pop-up dialog box to shut down the computer. After confirming that the computer is shut down, turn off the panel power switch. When shutting down, do not directly turn off the panel power switch; first shut down the Windows operating system of the computer, and then turn off the power switch.

  The carefully designed voltage and current amplifiers share AC/DC, and the output end consistently adopts high-precision, high-fidelity, high-reliability modular linear power amplifiers with excellent performance. It will not cause high or medium frequency interference to the test site, and ensures smooth waveform and excellent accuracy from large current to micro current throughout the entire process.

  It adopts a large-screen high-resolution graphic LCD display, and all operation processes are set on the display screen. The operation interface and test results are all displayed in Chinese, making the display intuitive and clear.

  It can complete most on-site test and verification tasks, verify various relays and microcomputer protections, and simulate various complex transient, permanent, and conversion faults for whole-group testing. It can be used immediately after power-on, and is easy and quick to operate.

  The device is equipped with a dedicated adjustable DC power output of 110V and 220V. It automatically outputs simultaneously at power-on and can be used as a protection power supply without software settings or adjustments.

  It adopts a reasonably designed heat dissipation structure, with reliable and complete multiple protection measures, which can simultaneously judge overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, short circuit, excessive temperature, data anomalies, and also has certain fault self-diagnosis and blocking functions.

  The device panel has a built-in keyboard and mouse, allowing standalone operation, and can also be operated by connecting an external keyboard and mouse through the keyboard and mouse interfaces; it also has two USB ports and an RS232 port for external PC operation. Test results can be automatically organized and recorded into test reports for future reference, and can also be directly saved via a USB drive and conveniently transferred to an external PC for editing, printing, and other processing.

  The relay protection tester uses a high-performance industrial computer as the control microcomputer, directly running the Windows XP operating system. The device panel has an 8.4" TFT true color LCD display, an external PC mouse, and a built-in keyboard. The panel also has a USB port for convenient data storage, data communication, and software upgrades. Only simple computer knowledge is needed to master the operation, with a friendly interface that is intuitive and convenient.

  The relay protection tester uses a high-speed digital control processor as the output core, and the software applies double-precision algorithms to generate high-precision waveforms of any phase. Since the instrument adopts an integrated structure, the interior is compact, the data transmission distance is short, and the number of waveform points fitted per cycle exceeds 2000 points, overcoming the problems in laptop direct-control test instruments caused by long data communication lines. It is precisely because of the high number of waveform points that the waveform fidelity is high, harmonic components are small, and the requirements for low-pass filters are very low, thus having good transient characteristics, phase-frequency characteristics, and amplitude-frequency characteristics, making it easy to implement phase shifting and harmonic superposition, and ensuring high precision even at high frequencies.

  The relay protection tester uses linear resolution to ensure the accuracy and linearity of current and voltage across the full range. Due to the high D/A resolution and high waveform points, the quality of the step waveform output by D/A conversion is quite high, and only a simple low-pass filter is needed in the later stage to filter out high-frequency components, restoring a high-quality, high-stability sine wave, effectively overcoming problems such as amplitude and phase drift.

  Phase current and voltage do not use step-up current or voltage transformers, but adopt direct output mode, allowing the current and voltage sources to directly output waveforms from DC to various frequency components, such as square waves, combined waveforms of harmonic superposition, and fault transient waveforms, which can better simulate the current and voltage characteristics during various short-circuit faults. The power amplifier circuit uses imported high-power high-fidelity modular power devices as the power output stage, with a heat dissipation structure, and has complete overheat, overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection.
