Audio test function. Three SCO channels and air interface for µ-law, A-law, and CVSD voice coding. BlueSuite Pro3 software provides graphical traces for modulation, individual channel measurements, and receiver sensitivity search. The Bluetooth test device MT8852B is an RF test instrument mainly used for design verification and production testing of products integrated with Bluetooth technology. It supports transmission power, frequency, modulation, and receiver sensitivity required by Bluetooth Basic Rate (BR), Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RF test specifications. In production, a simple button press starts a test script, and the test of a device can be completed within 10 seconds.
3. Built-in Bluetooth low energy twisted pair. For receiver sensitivity test cases, the BR/EDR/Bluetooth low energy scrambled transmitter uses the Bluetooth low energy option and BLE data length extension option. The MT8852B can perform wireless layer tests that fully comply with the imported Bluetooth v4.2 standard. In Bluetooth low energy, extending the packet length from 37 bytes to 255 bytes increases the effective throughput of the system. These test plans can be run individually as part of a test script. Additional options support 2 Mbps low energy PHY (2LE) testing, which can significantly improve battery life, and support Bluetooth long range (BLR) testing beyond 500 meters communication range. These tests are included in the recent Bluetooth 5 core specification. The adaptive frequency hopping option can analyze co-existing interference signals from WLAN and other sources. When interference is introduced, this option provides a graphical display of FER and masked channels to optimize hardware design.
