The 1000V digital ground resistance tester adopts the current-voltage method testing principle, also known as the four-wire method testing technology. The current source supplies current to the measured resistance Rx through the "I+, I-" two ports (also called I-type ports). The current magnitude is read by the ammeter I. The voltage drop across Rx is taken from the "V+, V-" two ports (also called V-type ports) and read by the voltmeter V. By measuring I and V, the resistance value of the measured resistor can be calculated.
