Principle and Disadvantages of Dielectric Loss Tester

The dielectric loss tester has added Chinese menu operation functions on the basis of the original, and one operation allows the microcomputer to automatically complete the entire measurement process. It is currently an ideal dielectric loss measurement device. It can measure high-voltage electrical equipment that is ungrounded or directly grounded using positive and reverse wiring methods. It is equipped with a high-voltage step-up transformer internally and adopts safety protection measures such as zero-crossing closing and lightning protection.

First, turn off the power switch on the panel and must clearly disconnect the 220V test power supply before making wiring changes.

Second, especially when the loss of small-capacitance test samples is small, it is necessary to ensure that the low-voltage end (or secondary end) of the tested equipment has good insulation and measure in an environment with relatively low humidity.

Third, when conducting experiments on large-capacitance test samples, the grounding of the test equipment and the grounding of the tested object should not be at the same grounding point.
