The high current generator is essential equipment in various industries for places requiring high current during electrical debugging. It is applied in power plants, substations, electrical appliance manufacturing plants, and scientific research and laboratory units. It belongs to short-time or intermittent duty, and has the characteristics of small size, light weight, good performance, and convenient use and maintenance. When opening the box for acceptance inspection, check whether the main circuit wiring terminals are loose and whether the carbon brush of the voltage regulator is in good contact. If it is not used for a long time, before use, use a 500V megohmmeter to check the insulation resistance of the main circuit to ground, and the resistance should be less than 0.5 megohm. The input voltage of the high current generator should conform to the voltage value indicated on the nameplate (∽220V, ∽380V), with a difference within ±10%, and a frequency of 50HZ. The current gear switch is not allowed to operate with load. When operating, rotate the handwheel evenly and slowly to avoid damaging the voltage regulator. The working time of the high current generator at full load should not exceed 5 minutes, and the continuous working time should be less than 2.5 minutes, but the working cycle should be greater than 10 minutes. The shell of the high current generator has a grounding terminal, and it should be properly grounded during use.
