On July 1st, the Tianjin Electric Institute held the celebration of the Party's birthday and the summary and commendation conference for "Striving for Excellence" in the multifunctional hall of the industrial base. More than 300 people attended the meeting, including all Party members, League members, activists applying for Party membership, middle-level and above leading cadres, and representatives of retired veteran comrades. Wang Hai, Director of the Organization Department of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission Party Committee, and Wang Lili, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Science and Technology Trade Union, attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Deputy Party Secretary Liu Guolin.
After the majestic "National Anthem" was sung, the ceremony of new Party members taking the oath and old Party members reaffirming the oath of joining the Party officially began. Under the leadership of the staff of the Party Committee Work Department, all Party members raised their right fists and solemnly swore in front of the Party flag, with loud and powerful voices. In the learning upsurge of "Two Studies, One Action" with the theme of "Practicing the second entrepreneurship, implementing strategic measures, and seeking quality development", new and old Party members made or reaffirmed their vows under the Party flag, with the aim of not failing their mission and keeping their promises.
After the oath ceremony, the conference commended "Advanced Party Branches", "Outstanding Party Affairs Workers", and "Outstanding Communist Party Members". The Party Branch of the Intelligent Equipment Research Institute won the title of "Advanced Party Branch"; Comrades Lu Lin and Jin Fuyou won the title of "Outstanding Party Affairs Workers"; and 13 comrades including Wang Yang and Liu Juan won the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Members". Deputy Party Secretary Liu Guolin announced the commendation decision, and the company's leadership team successively presented awards to the advanced collectives and outstanding individuals.
Party Secretary Zhang Xiaobin delivered an important speech. He required everyone to closely combine the learning and education of "Two Studies, One Action" with the company's business development work, seriously implement the various deployments and requirements of Sinomach Group, the Municipal Science and Technology Commission Party Committee, and the company's Party Committee, focus on the center, serve the overall situation, and provide a strong political and organizational guarantee for the company's reform and development. He called on all employees to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, always achieve the "Four Speaks and Four Haves", transform the enthusiasm for learning from advanced models and striving to be advanced into the driving force and source of work, base themselves on their posts, work hard, never forget the original intention, continue to advance, and make due contributions to the company's sound and rapid development.
The conference also held a staff literary and artistic performance to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party. Through various forms of programs such as chorus, instrumental performance, and dance, it showcased the firm confidence, shared consensus, responsibility, and spiritual outlook of the company's staff in the new journey of the "13th Five-Year Plan".
