A New Generation of Microcomputer-Based Relay Protection Test Device and Its Basic Functions
Developed based on DSP, high-power switching amplifiers, and PC for the testing needs of microcomputer-based relay protection devices and safety automatic devices, this new generation of microcomputer-based relay protection test device is introduced. Its basic performance, the implementation of the simulator's software and hardware, and the functions of the simulator, such as real-time power system simulation, harmonic generator, fault waveform playback, system oscillation simulation, and testing of various types of relays, are described. The test device is small in size, light in weight, and easy to operate. It can be widely used in relay protection manufacturers, laboratories, power plants, substations, and other places to test various relay protection devices.
◆ Microcomputer-based relay protection test deviceThe device has a built-in industrial computer and Windows operating system. Please do not turn the host power on and off too frequently (interval of 1 minute).
◆ The device panel or back panel is equipped with USB ports, allowing hot-plugging of USB devices (such as USB drives), but note that plugging and unplugging must be done after data transmission is completed.
◆ To ensure the stable and reliable operation of the built-in Windows operating system of the industrial computer, please do not arbitrarily delete or modify files on the hard disk or icons on the desktop, and do not arbitrarily operate, change, add, delete, or use the built-in Windows system to avoid damage to the operating system. When using a USB drive to copy data, please ensure that the USB drive is clean and virus-free, and do not use the USB drive to install other software programs in this system.
◆ When connecting an external keyboard or mouse, do not plug them into the wrong ports, otherwise the Windows operating system may not start normally.
◆ Do not turn off the power directly in the output state to avoid protection misoperation due to incorrect output when turning off.
◆ The input channels are compatible with dry contacts and potentials (0-250VDC). When using live contacts, the contact potential (positive) should be connected to the common terminal COM.
◆ When using the relay protection test device, do not block or seal the ventilation openings of the device. Generally, place the device upright or open the support feet to tilt it slightly.
◆ It is forbidden to introduce external AC or DC power into the voltage and current output jacks of the test device. Otherwise, the test device will be damaged.
◆ If the on-site interference is strong or safety requirements are high, before the test, please reliably ground the ground terminal of the power cord (3-core) or the device grounding hole.
◆Microcomputer-based relay protection test device If problems such as interface data errors or device connection failures occur during use, you can solve them as follows: press the reset button downward to reset the DSP; or exit the running program and return to the main menu, then rerun the program, and all data on the interface will be restored to default values.
