Comprehensive Introduction to Dielectric Loss Tester

Dielectric Loss Tester is a novel automated instrument for measuring the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) and capacitance (Cx). It can be used on-site at power frequency high voltage to measure the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) and capacitance (Cx) of various high-voltage equipment such as insulating materials, insulating bushings, power cables, capacitors, transformers, and instrument transformers.

The Dielectric Loss Tester can also be connected to an external power supply and used in conjunction with standard capacitors of various high voltage levels produced by the company to measure high-voltage dielectric loss. It has strong anti-interference capability. The Dielectric Loss Tester adopts an automatic tracking interference compensation circuit, combining vector operation with phase shifting method to effectively eliminate the influence of strong electric field interference on measurement, suitable for on-site testing at power stations of 500kV and below.

The Dielectric Loss Tester has the advantages of simple operation, automatic measurement, intuitive readings, no need for conversion, high accuracy, and strong anti-interference capability. The instrument has built-in standard capacitors and voltage boosting device, which can be used in the "internal connection" mode without any other external equipment, making it easy to carry.

The Dielectric Loss Tester is equipped with a large screen (105mm×65mm) Chinese menu interface. The screen is divided into left and right parts: the left side is the function menu area, and the right side provides relevant status information prompts. Every step is very clear, and operators can use it without professional training. With one operation, the microcomputer automatically completes the entire measurement process, making it a very ideal dielectric loss measurement device at present.
