Are microcomputer relay protection devices the same as microcomputer integrated protection devices, or are they related?

To put it plainly, microcomputer protection or integrated protection is actually a miniaturized version of the previous signal relays with improved performance, commonly known as integrated protection.

"Microcomputer protection device" is a term from the perspective of the relay protection profession.

“
Microcomputer integrated protection device” is a term from the perspective of integrated automation.

At medium and low voltage levels, these two terms essentially refer to the same thing.

At high and extra-high voltage levels, they are quite different.
