The instrument has multiple test modes such as the low-voltage pulse reflection method, surge method, and audio induction method, and can detect low-resistance, high-resistance, open-circuit, and flashing faults in cables. It has a built-in high-voltage generation unit and supports an impulse voltage output of up to 8 kV, meeting the testing needs of most medium- and low-voltage cables.
